Autumn Series Format Change
Richard | October 29, 2009 | 5:17 pmAt the beginning of the year, the Sailing Committee decided to reduce the number of races in the Autumn series to two, starting at 11am. The idea behind this was to encourage those sailors that don’t like to cold weather to sail as it was a shorter day and to help the OOD to fit less races into the shorter days.
At the sailors meeting on Sunday there was unanimous approval to revert back to three races, and after putting to the vote, with immediate affect.
Therefore, from this Sunday (1st Nov) the autumn series will be three races per day with the first start at 11am.
